Description of walk route, difficulty level: A relaxing tour along the Mascoma River and Mascoma Lake. Beginning at Whitney Hall on Main Street, the walk follows Main Street through the center of Enfield, joining up with the rail trail in the center of town, crossing the Mascoma River and opening up to a beautiful view of Mascoma Lake. After walking a mile, the route doubles back, returning to Main Street.

Description of walk route, difficulty level: Guided historic walking tour of Enfield village. Meet in the Enfield village Municipal parking lot at 3PM. Walk is on sidewalks through the village following Main Street to Route 4, down Oak Grove Street back to Main Street making a loop back to the parking lot. Flat and gentle hills, easy to moderate. Great for history buffs!

(Assume that it will take about 30 minutes to walk one mile.)

Estimated number of participants: 10-20

Description of walk route, difficulty level: Guided walk on open and wooded trails following the old Enfield Shaker Canals system on Shaker Mountain. Some steep hills and rough terrain. Wear good, sturdy hiking shoes. Meet in front of the Stone Mill Building opposite the Enfield Shaker Museum on Route 4A at 2pm for a guided tour and explanation of the unique shaker water system. Moderate to difficult.
