Thomas/Nozell Family - Merrimack,

Just wanted you to know that your Walk New
Hampshire program is a tremendous hit in our house. We've
split our 6 children into two teams and both teams have just
passed the halfway mark for the length of NH. (95 miles
to-date)
We have measured out a safe one-mile loop in our
neighborhood and when my kids come home from school, the
first thing they ask is if they can go for a walk. Now that
the weather is getting warmer, they are out everyday adding
miles to their team's totals.
Neighbors are starting to notice that our family is walking
so much and we've had lots of people ask us about the
program.
This morning, the kids and I had a discussion about how much
fun this is and what we would do when it was over. The kids
came up with the next goal of walking across the United
States as a family. With a final distance of 3020 miles, it
may take us a few years to get there but the kids said they
were
up for it (ages 6 - 14).
As an incentive for the Cross-America walk, my husband and I
have decided to put one dollar into a fund for every mile
that the kids walk and once they walk across the US, we will
take them all to Disney Land.
Thanks for coming up with such a fun and motivating exercise
program,
